PROTECT PATIENTS & STAFF FROM CORONAVIRUS TRANSMISSION
Prevent transmission of COVID-19 in the office from staff to patients, and vice-versa, with the use of our patient-portion-control PVPI product (PVPI-Liquid Mask).
JAMA Otolarngology Journal: “PVPI nasal antiseptic solutions at concentrations as low as 0.5% rapidly inactivate SARS-CoV-2 at contact times as short as 15 sec. Intranasal use of PVPI has demonstrated safety at concentrations of 1.25% and below and may play an adjunctive role in mitigating viral transmission beyond PPE.”
Liquid Mask is a nasal-oral spray containing 1% PVPI in a very easy-to-use pleasant-tasting peppermint/stevia base. It has instant patient and staff acceptance. It provides a significant barrier to disease transmission, reducing COVID-19 infectious viral (and other bacterial and fungal) organisms by over 99.9999% in 15-30 seconds.
It is used worldwide by thousands of dental, oral and oropharyngeal practitioners.
You can order in lots of 10, 20 or 50. Each spray bottle is unique and specific to each patient or staff person and should be retained by them. Spray bottles for healthcare workers (HCWs) and staff will last a week with routine 2-4x/daily use. A brief spray in each nostril, and two in the mouth are most effective. Example: January 2021: The Philippine Academy of Science issued a bulletin “Use of Povidone-Iodine to Recue Transmission of SARS-CoV2 Virus.” “A recent randomized controlled clinical trial of 606 COVID-19 patients demonstrated that 98% of the originally positive COVID-19 patients were cured (tested negative). PVPI patients had better survival rates and required less support than controls.”
Example: The Dept. of Periodontology of the M.R.A. Dental College in Bangalore, India wrote (in GSC Online Advanced Research) “Preprocedural rinse can reduce the risk of transmission of the virus and can be used as an adjunct with PPE kits for prevention and protection from infection.” PVPI was the recommended mouthwash.
Example: The Japanese Dental Science Review, December 2020 wrote that “The use of PVPI mouth-rinse for prophylactic measures has been advocated across the globe to reduce disease transmission. Although the efficacy of PVPI against SARS-CoV-2 is proven, no review articles had yet discussed the evidence and mechanisms of PVPI against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This paper highlights the rationale, safety, recommendations and dosage of PVPI gargle/mouthwash as an effective method to decrease the viral loads during these pressing times of COVID-19.”
Example: The “Infection Control & Hospital Epidemiology” journal published a letter to the editor by Raj Kumar Maurya BDS, MDS and associates from the Dept. of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the ESIC Dental College and Hospital, New Delhi who wrote “With the growing evidence amid the COVID-19 pandemic, evidence-based recommendations in favor of PVPI as PMR has been increasing.”
Example: The British Dental Journal published a Letter from Dr. P. Davis, Tavistock, UK, who wrote: “Sir, I wish to report on the experience of the routine use of 0.5% povidone iodine (PVPI) mouthwashes and nasal sprays in 6,000 consecutive dental patients. There were no complaints of taste or procedure and no reports of any adverse reactions. All staff felt more relaxed about providing dental treatment with patients using such an effective antiviral mouthwash.”
Example: Dr. J. Kirk Bayley of the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Challacombe, UK, and colleagues in a BMJ article entitled “The use of PVPI nasal spray and mouthwash during the current COVID-19 pandemic may protect healthcare workers and reduce cross infection” reports that “PVPI has been shown to be a safe therapy when inhaled nasally or gargled. We propose that a PVPI wash should be used in the current COVID-19 pandemic to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 from patients to HCWs and vice versa and reduce the incidence of COVID-19.”
