There is solid clinical and experimental evidence: iodine can probably prevent the transmission of COVID-19. If true, does this make a vaccine unnecessary? Iodine is cheap, easy to get, safe and is used in every hospital of the world, thousands of times a day. It kills COVID-19 in the lab in 15-30 seconds.
